Tron

I was a big fan of the original movies and in light of the recent blu-ray/dvd release of tron, I fired up the ol' illustrator.

Digital Painting

So, I'm still around, and lately have been influenced by matte painters. I just got ILM's The Art and Special Effects and it reminded me of why I went to art school in the first place. Naturally this led to new work! I've been playing around with my tablet, and finally have a piece I'm happy to share. Definitely a departure from my usual illustrations, but a welcome experiment.

I'm still around. I started a new full time gig with American Girl, and haven't updated, obvs. I do have some new work, so expect to see some updates in the coming week.

Sixties

I totally love the film Down With Love. The sixties are a huge inspiration for me, in both my design and illustration style, and my home decor. While I'm in between work, I thought I'd make another little fun doodlediddle. I also really want a circle chair, because they look like the future. Speaking of the future I cannot wait to say 20-10. 2009 kinda sucked, so I'm looking towards the new year with a light heart and much hope. I think it's going to be great.
